Sometimes it's hard to remember that today won't end with a "THE END" but that the story of our lives will go on tomorrow. Today will end with a "TO BE CONTINUED".
The mercy in all of this is that we truly DO get to start over every single day, writing the story of our lives one experience at a time, but that the story gets to go on. And things get to resolve themselves and plots can twist and turn and characters can make their way in and out of the story. But every day, the story goes on.
If you are in a place, dear girl, a place that you don't want to be, just know that the story is not over. It is far from over. The rest of your life has yet to be written.
Make it a good one, and wait it out when all you can do is wait. Everything always works out somehow, and most of the time in ways we weren't expecting, but ways that are so much better than what we ever wished for.
Stay with it. Be true to you. YOU are the main character. Be exactly who you are.

Today I took a spur of the moment road trip to have lunch in Natchez, Mississippi... Sarah came with me. I really did not know if I was going to go until this morning at 9, when I woke up and had to drag myself out of my nice, warm comfy bed. I like my bed, But I think lately I like it a little too much as in... it consumes me and since the word depressed is something that cannot be a part of my vocabulary I got out of bed a little quicker this morning. Sarah was waiting on me. We did it. Had Lunch at Cotton Alley Cafe. Best burgers ever and homemade Lemon creme cake for dessert. Mmmm. Took pictures, drove around and explored. Some said why go 2 hours away for lunch. I say because thats what I wanted for lunch and it was worth it. We have today to add to our story and tomorrow to make it even better!

We do get to continue our life each and everyday... Some say we get a chance to start over fresh each day. I say we get each and every day to improve on the next. I had to share this Brave Girls Club Daily Truth today because I agree. " Wait it out because all you can do is wait it out." In the middle of all your waiting... just live. Be happy, make new friends and LOVE. My heart is big and I have surrendered it to the Lord!
