What do you know about your heritage? To be very honest, I can't tell you where my family originates from. A few years ago we did some research for Jasins fathers side of the family because we were going to Sicily and thought it would be awesome to trace back a few generations. We traced it all the way back to the early 1800's. 5 generations. It was amazing that each generation until Jasins dad all stayed married until death and never remarried. What was their secret? I really think it was COMMITMENT. I just found this little cartoon online and wanted to share it. I think it is so funny and so true.

I know it is a couple that is dating but it still relates. Okay that was a bit of me on a soap box. Hehehehe. LOL. So this post is about a class I will be teaching on MAY 22 in Denham Springs.

Scrapbooks and More has asked me to teach a double page layout class using the Heritage Cricut Cartridge. Yes... I own a Cricut, but I rarely use it when I am scrapping. I use it for the events and lots of projects for the kids and school. It is a pretty awesome machine. I had to have the Heritage cartridge cause you all know I love all things vintage and it has a beautiful assortment of vintage images.

They gave me some of the Garden Gala line from Websters Pages to create the layout, a pack of the journal cards to match, and some ribbon and lace! Hope you like it. If you want to sign up for the class call the store! {225} 665~9478. If you take the class you can stay and crop with me and the girls til 10pm....No extra charge!

Here are some pictures.

Happy Mothers Day to all who have beautiful little ones under their wings. I pray God keeps them safe in your arms. Big hugs, Amy
