We spent the whole day doing whatever Jacob wanted to do....It was his 8th birthday! They just grow up so fast. He wanted to eat breakfast at Chick-Fil-A, He picked out his own birthday present at Toys R Us and we went to the movies to see Alvin and the Chipmunks... After we went to eat at my mother in laws and had cake and opened more presents.....He racks up this time of year but honestly I think he gets overwhelmed. Is it possible for kids to get too many toys??? For our kids it does..... We live pretty simple....Oh by the way we have ventured into the gaming world...My in-laws gave the kids a Wii for Christmas. They love it but I think the adults are having fun with it too....Their paw-paw stayed up til 4 in the morning boxing...too funny! Jesse and Alex decorated a ginger bread house last night. These are moments I treasure! Jacob was busy playing with his Legos....He has a new love...That is what he chose for his presents at Toys are us. So here are a few pics...
Happy Birthday, My little Jacob!!!!!
Alex and Jesse make a Ginger Bread house!
Is this not the cutest picture ever????? Little Jesse is so proud of their Ginger Bread house!
A funny story... My mother in law took him to get a hair cut....he pulled me aside last night and told me he does not like his new hair cut....I just told him it would all grow back. Even at 6 years old they know what they want for their life. such a little "man"!
I promise to get busy and start scrapping....I really gotta get creative and play catch up with all the pictures I need to scrap! I love Hanging out with family though....You never get those moments back....gotta keep the moments coming so we have more to get creative with.....Gotta have moments to take pictures of to fill up our scrapbooks. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and here is to a very Happy New Year!!!!
