Creative kids....

I hope everyone had a peaceful rest over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We spent the whole week with family it was great. I love that the kids get the whole week off of school. Although most of their vacation time was spent with their Ma'maw and Pa'paw. It is a good thing. We went to visit....Hahaha, funny, huh, visiting your own kids but they have 2 acres of property and they love to run around and play outside! I am so thankful for our family. What would we do without them? I am thankful for all my sweet friends.....What would I do without YOU!!!???

Last week we had our Friday Night All Night Scrap at our church. When I was running around picking up last minute goodies Alexandria asked me if she could get a paper mache tree and some scrapbook paper. I made some of these trees last year but nothing like what she came up with. I love to let them play free with their creativity. Here is a picture of the tree she made.

She just tore strips of paper...Green and black to match her bedroom. Curled them on the ends with a pencil and glued them to the tree. She added buttons, feathers and sequins. So easy and a great centerpiece.

I made this little Christmas wall hanging!!!

I found these giant dominoes at Target and knew I could use them for something. The little embellishments are cut out of some greeting cards I found for $3.99 for 12. Those of you who are in the states, you know of a store called Ross Dress for Less.....well they have everything....and way less than any large department store. Well, I have just found that they also have some pretty cool scrap booking supplies...I have bought Making Memories, Colorbok, Chatter Box and 7 Gypsies paper packs there.....Paper and embellishments in a sample pack for $2.99 to $6.99. The 7 Gypsies pack had 100 peices of paper, 4 different rub-on packs, 4 large sticker sheets and a journal sticker sheet for $6.99. What a deal...

I was scrappin' recently, cutting out little frames on a piece of American Crafts paper. Jesse is usually the one at my feet when I scrapbook....all his mighty creative juices flowing. I did not even know he made this robot with all my scraps....He made it and put it in his book bag for his teacher..... Don't worry I let him give it to his teacher but not before I took a picture of this cute little robot and posted it here for you to see.

I love it when they use their imagination and get creative. Jesse always comes home from school and duplicates projects they did at school that day.....I have a bucket of scrap paper I give the boys and Alex too, if they need some cool paper.

Come back tomorrow for the latest challenge for What is Your Fave Thing... We gotta a great new challenge headed your way!
