Painting, Sewing and Teaching......Busy, Busy, Busy

Today was a fabulous day. I taught my first classes at Scrapbook and Company. We had a Jenni Bowlin Project kit she gave me permission to teach first thing this morning and a Teresa Collins kit this afternoon. Thank you to all my wonderful students. I had a blast. I had so much fun it was not time to go home and Denise, Melanie, Beverly and Charlotte and I ended up at The Melting Pot, A wonderful restaurant that serves fondue in so many varieties....... My fave was the flaming turtle!!!!! melted chocolate, caramel and pecans with many yummie sweets to dip inside. Awesome dinner, awesome service and best of all awesome company. Sorry no pictures to share.... Thank you Denise for inviting me to teach at your store. I am so excited it all went so well and I will be back!!!!! It was really nice to meet everyone. Can't wait to see you all again!!!

P.S. Sorry I have been a little absent in the blog world.... I have been helping to prepare vacation bible school at our church and this week consisted of a few all nighters. Love the results... painted a huge mural of a crocodile and some cardboard to look like a wood dock and helped set up our stage and made 5 costumes... a crocodile, bird, turtle, oppossum, fire fly....of course there were no patterns for such animals so I had to make them from scratch.... I am so excited to help out. Very tired but happy to lend a helping hand.... Now it is time to rest... Hugs to all.

  7. Sounds like the classes were a hit! And who wouldn't love the Melting Pot? I haven't been in several years...took me weeks to work off all the yummies from my last trip! LOL!

You've been a busy little bee now haven't you? Hope things slow down for you soon, but something tells me you always have a full plate. Thanks for your sweet comments about my DT try-out. Of course I'm hoping to make it, but I've put alot of prayer into it and if it doesn't happen then no worries.

Take care and I will catch ya later! xoxo L.
