Inspiration overload!!!

Well....I guess with all these projects I am showing you today I can't say I don't have much time to scrap....I have managed my time wisely. This last week I have been spending many late nights creating inspiration and projects to have at my Faith 365 Summer Scrap event. I love to have a ton of things for everyone to look at and projects for eveyone to complete. If you are wondering why there are no photos in the mini books it is beacause they will be used as prizes.

My wonderful friend  Charlotte cut out 30 of these chipboard books. They will be available at the event so you can make your own. I found this wonderful paper line by K and Co that had perfect summer colors. I love the word board books but even better now we can make one with our own words.

You just need 6 12x12 pieces af paper, ribbon, chipboard letters, and a few little embellishments.

Here is another mini I have been wanting to make for awhile, I used  K and Co paper, I found an awesome paper pack with wonderful vintage feel paper. I have been wanting to use my bind-it all machine to make a book like this. I love to make mini books and this one was fun. That cool hand came in a kit from Shop Crop Suey.

I am going to use these handmade paper pinwheels as a fun center piece on my tables. Instead of buttons there will be chocolate in the jars. Everyone will be able to take one home. They are made with the same K and Co paper as the first mini book.

I made my first order from Shop Crop Suey. You can visit them here...I ordered a few papers, a kit and some bingo cards and tickets. I used the Prima paper I bought and made this frame... I bought unfinished wood frames at Target a while back 3 for $2.50. I made some using the bird photos Jenneke sent. They are in my gallery. I made this one by decoupaging old music sheets on to the wood, Watered down some vibrant pink paint and washed the edge of the frame. Then instead of a photo,I used a 12 by 3 inch strip of paper...scored the strip so there was 4, 3x3 squares and glued it to the middle of the frame. You will have to measure the inside of your frame to determine the size of your mini book. Tie the peice of ric-rac around the bottom so it will slide up and down to hold the accordian folded book pages in place. I have a few frames, so it will be available at the event.

I made these cards with a couple different summer paper packs from Stampin Up. I love the line with the owls and birds and large flowers. Making cards is fun and easy.

If you are not able to attend the event and would like further instructions on how to make some of these projects. I would be happy to share the instructions with you by e-mail. Just leave me a comment.

Hope you have had a fabulous inspiration overload. Hugs.

  4. First things first! I am sooooo bummed. I have been missing your posts. I don't know why, but your updated posts are not showing up on my blogger dashboard. I have been extremely busy and just assumed you hadn't been updating as you were also busy. Very next thing I'm gonna do is figure out what is wrong. I've missed way tooooo much!

Next thing next. Where do you live? I'm at work and I can't recall the return address on the envelope you sent. I'm curious because it would be incredible if several of us blog gals could get together. If you don't want to post your location on the blog, send it by email (lhowards4n@yahoo.com).

Finally, I ADORE all your projects. You have been so busy! I just LOVE them all! Wish I could come to your retreat. Sounds like a blast! I can't seem to find that many scrapping buddies around here. At least no one seems to be as passionate about it as I am. LOL! I need a total addict like me. Hmmmmm, maybe I google local Scrapper's Anonymous. LOL!

Love the pictures too. You always blow me away with your mad photography skills. Later in the week I'm going to post some pics from a wedding I photographed Friday night. I was so stinking nervous. I haven't taken any classes yet and I'm totally unsure of what I'm doing. But my friend asked that I do this for her son. And how could I say no. I was pretty please. Of course, I took over 1000 photos. LOL! I didn't want to miss anything.

Hope you are doing well. And thanks so much for always visiting and leaving such sweet comments. I love when you drop in. And I'm up for exchanging pics but I'm leaving for vacation next week and things are scary hectic for a few weeks. Let's see about doing it in July. Sound good?

    Mucho Love,
    Lisa
